I started Covenant Audio in 2016 with a simple idea: wedding couples in Atlanta deserve a DJ who actually cares about sound quality. I come from a sound engineering background — I build systems for rooms, not playlists for speakers. Every event, I handle DJ mixing, MC duties, and sound engineering myself. One person who understands your timeline, your music, your room, and your gear.

I've worked everywhere from 300-guest ballrooms to intimate backyard ceremonies, destination weddings on St. Simons Island, and corporate events in airplane hangars. The gear and the plan change every time — the standard doesn't.

Sam Kim

System Engineer & Technician

The secret sauce behind Covenant Audio's success. Sam has been with us for 10+ years working on sound and video system setup and live operations. What would normally require a crew of four or more, Sam gets done right in a fraction of the time. From speaker rigging and cable management to live-mixing support and troubleshooting on the fly — Sam is the reason our setups run clean and our load-ins stay fast.

What I Bring to Every Event

DJ & Live Mixing

Music selection and live mixing based on your preferences. Smooth transitions, crowd reading, clean edits. Must-play and do-not-play lists, genre/vibe guidance, and real-time adjustments throughout the night.

MC & Event Flow

Introductions, announcements, toasts, first dance, cake cutting, send-off — all coordinated with your planner. Option to keep it minimal or fully guided. Bilingual ceremony support available.

Sound Engineering

Ceremony audio (officiant mics, music cues), reception audio (toasts, speeches), and multi-space coverage. Modern column array speaker systems with subwoofers, 12+ wireless microphones (Shure), and backup equipment for every critical component.

Lighting & Production

Uplighting (8-12 fixtures standard) for ambiance that transforms your venue. Gig Bar Move dance floor lighting. Projector & screen available as an add-on for slideshows or livestream display.

Real setups at real venues. Every event gets a custom speaker, mic, and lighting plan for the space.
